In my experience, Bluehost is a hosting company you should avoid. It’s hard to say, but it’s true. The main issues are slow page load times and security flaws. Don’t be surprised if your website is shut down because it was hacked, then Bluehost will charge you $300 to fix it. The thing is that it is their server that is not protected.

Now, part of the problem is that there are a lot of so-called gurus who advocate them, but they don’t use them themselves. The only reason they do this is that they are paid a lot of money.
